A phased project with evidence at every step

The Mélédjé Agueri Marcel municipal sports complex already exists. The first priority is not a new build; it is to rehabilitate and secure what is there so clubs, schools, associations and informal players can use it more effectively.

For Phase 1, Carrick quotation DV00079 covers site setup, clearing and cleaning, earthworks and levelling, fence repairs, paintwork, six solar LED lights, surface repairs and multisport line marking. Works total 36.7 million FCFA, approximately CHF 52,200 at the indicative rate used in the project file.

The agreement with DGSVF, including DPES, establishes a three-year cooperation framework. On 10 April 2026, the first stone was laid in the presence of authorities and partners. The agreement and ceremony demonstrate commitment; they do not mean construction is complete.

Sport is the means — people are the purpose.

01

Phase 1 · restore practical use

Functional rehabilitation of the field and perimeter: cleaning, levelling, fence repairs, solar lighting, surface repair and multisport marking.

02

Track real use

The plan is to document attendance, activities, user clubs and schools, participation by girls and boys, and the condition of the facility.

03

Prepare future phases

Basketball and additional improvements remain future steps to be technically validated, costed and funded with partners.

Project milestones

A journey across several stages.

Human value & approach

Legacy is measured through use and care

A renovated court matters only if it is used, maintained and open to different groups. Pass-Sport aims to pair works monitoring with use indicators and local cooperation that continues after construction.

Status and transparency
