A tournament win

SPORT AND CULTURAL EXCHANGEThe 2025 programme brought Meyrin FC youth players to the Saudi capital for a week of sporting and intercultural exchange. The team won an inter-academy tournament and the individual awards for best player, top scorer and best goalkeeper.
The programme went beyond competition: exchanges with Al Doha Academy, a visit to Al Nassr’s academy, a matchday welcome at the Kingdom Arena for an Al Hilal game, a meeting with the Swiss Embassy, and visits to Diriyah and local heritage sites.
The educational aim was to turn travel into learning: prepare together, live as a team, listen to different approaches, speak in public and represent Geneva, the club and the association responsibly.
Sport is the means — people are the purpose.
