A mission that grew in scope

From 5 to 15 April 2026, Pass-Sport led a delegation to Abidjan and the surrounding region. The group included six young players, three adult staff, a media team and a social media team. The programme combined football, academy visits, meetings with authorities, cultural discovery and community activities.

On 13 April, the Direction générale des Sports et de la Vie fédérale (DGSVF), which includes the Direction de la Professionnalisation et de l’Économie du Sport (DPES), signed a partnership convention with Pass-Sport. It provides a framework for cooperation and exchange; it does not create an automatic public grant.

The delegation also took part in a panel at Félix-Houphouët-Boigny Stadium on training, academy governance and talent identification. Equipment was handed to local partners in Grand-Lahou. In Dabou, the separate Legacy project reached a milestone with the laying of the first stone for the municipal sports complex.

Sport is the means — people are the purpose.

Human value & approach

Cooperation means learning in both directions

The mission connects Geneva youth, Ivorian educators, institutions and clubs. It aims for a genuine exchange of skills and practice, recognising local partners as contributors rather than passive recipients.

Status and transparency
The mission took place from 5 to 15 April 2026. The institutional convention was signed by DGSVF on 13 April. Grand-Lahou equipment handovers and the Dabou infrastructure project are distinct components; this page does not claim Dabou’s works are complete.
